Carson City, NV—March 2005—RMS Technologies, the Driving Force in Motion Control, is pleased to introduce the Nema 17 High Torque Series of step motors. Along with the RMS high performance microstepping drivers and controllers these NEMA 17 High torque steppers are now available for on-line purchase.

These NEMA 17 step motors are compact in size, yet boast a large amount of torque. Depending on the winding and stack length, the user can find the right amount of torque needed for their application. Available stack sizes are: Small at 1.34” in length, Medium at 1.58” in length, and Large at 1.89” in length. Holding torque ranges from 35 oz-in up to 110 oz-in.

Applications which have benefited from the use of the RMS HT17, 1.8 degree series of step motors include, but are not limited to: robotics, printing, packaging, and satellite positioning systems.
