Connection Specifications:

1. Find your Serial COM Port on your PC. Use a Male to Female cable and connect one end of the cable to your PC. Take the other end of the cable and connect it to the Converter Card.

2. Use the DB-9 cable that was provided with the R256 Controller to connect the R256 to the Converter Card. The 3-Pin, white or blue connector fits onto the Header of the Converter Card.

3. Use the 4-Pin white connector cable to attach a motor to the Controller.

4. For information on wiring, go to Support Wiring.

5. Finally, connect a +12 to 40 VDC Power Supply to Pins 1 and 6, Positive and Negative, respectively.

6. Now you are ready to program your controller.
